What safety certifications does the Supertech R10 Acosta Limited Edition Helmet have?
The Supertech R10 Acosta Limited Edition Helmet is certified to ECE 22.06 and DOT standards and carries FIM homologation. Its multi-layer shell combines 3K and uni-directional carbon fiber with aramid fiber and fiberglass.
Protection features include an eight-piece multi-density EPS liner, a low-friction inner finish designed to help mitigate rotational forces, an EPP chin bar liner, and an Emergency Cheek Pad Release System for medical personnel.
Can I use the Supertech R10 Acosta Limited Edition Helmet for both road riding and track days?
Yes. This full-face helmet is designed for road performance and circuit-focused racing and sport riding. Its CFD-modeled, wind-tunnel-validated aerodynamic package includes interchangeable Road and Race rear spoilers, lateral winglets, and surface turbulators to support stability at speed.
For track use, check your organizer’s helmet requirements before riding, as acceptance depends on the event’s rules and the helmet’s condition.
Does the Supertech R10 Acosta Limited Edition Helmet include a Pinlock lens and a dark visor?
Yes. The supplied visor equipment includes clear and dark smoke shields plus a Pinlock anti-fog lens. The Optical Class 1 visor system features anti-fog and anti-scratch treatments, a metal locking mechanism, and tool-less quick-release baseplates.
The visor provides a 220° lateral and 57° vertical field of view. Choose the shield appropriate to the light conditions and applicable local regulations.
How does the Supertech R10 Acosta Limited Edition Helmet manage heat during riding?
The helmet uses an 11-vent layout with seven intakes—three at the chin and four on top—and four exhausts to circulate cooling airflow during riding. Its moisture-wicking comfort textiles help manage perspiration during road and track sessions.
The comfort liner is removable and washable, allowing riders to maintain the interior between rides. Follow the helmet’s care instructions when cleaning it.
