The T-GP R V3 Drystar® Jacket is a race-derived waterproof sport textile jacket made with advanced stretch materials and features a 3D tailored sport silhouette and refined detailing. The silhouette is made with a new pattern giving the jacket a real leather jacket look, supported by the race derived extended elbow armor. The jacket provides unrivaled comfort and freedom of movement through the extensive use of stretch. More than half of the jacket is made with strategically placed tech stretch and stretch softshell materials, while the remainder is constructed from a blend of 450D and 600D polyfabric for reinforcement. When it comes to protection, DFS external sliders and Nucleon Flex Plus Level 1 armor protect the rider’s shoulders with GP-R Lite extended armor on the elbows and forearms. The lightweight and waterproof T-GP R V3 Drystar® Jacket provides breathable performance with versatile climate management. For additional climate management, the jacket has a removable stretch thermal liner featuring a mix of 100g PrimaLoft® insulation on the torso and 80g insulation on the arms, which works in combination with the zippered direct opening vents on the rider’s sides and hidden laser perforation on the rider’s back. The detachable thermal jacket also features an optimal new tech layer wrist attachment with a 360-degree Velcro system and soft velour on the inner wrist.

Is the T-GP R V3 Drystar® Jacket waterproof?

Yes. The T-GP R V3 uses a waterproof and breathable Drystar® membrane, with a listed waterproof rating of 5,000 mm. It is a textile sport motorcycle jacket designed for road riding in changing weather conditions.

The jacket also has a front inner waterproof pocket. Its removable thermal liner provides insulation; the Drystar® membrane provides the waterproof protection.
Does the T-GP R V3 Drystar® Jacket have a thermal liner and ventilation?

Yes. The jacket includes a removable stretch thermal liner with 100 g PrimaLoft® insulation on the torso and 80 g insulation on the arms for cold-weather comfort.

For warmer conditions, remove the thermal liner and open the zippered direct-opening side vents. Laser-perforated exhaust openings at the back support airflow and climate management during riding.
What CE rating does the T-GP R V3 Drystar® Jacket have, and is a back protector included?

The T-GP R V3 is CE-certified Category II to EN 17092-4:2020, Class A. It includes Nucleon Flex Plus shoulder armor and GP-R Lite extended elbow armor, both certified to EN 1621-1:2012 Level 1, plus external Dynamic Friction Shield shoulder sliders.

Chest and back protectors are optional accessory upgrades, not included. The jacket has compartments for Nucleon chest inserts and standard-sized or long back protector inserts. Class A is the garment classification; Level 1 describes the included impact armor.
Which Tech-Air® airbag systems are compatible with the T-GP R V3 Drystar® Jacket?

The T-GP R V3 Drystar® Jacket is Tech-Air® Ready and is listed as compatible with the Tech-Air® 5 Plasma System, Tech-Air® 5 System and Tech-Air® 3 V2 System. Tech-Air® Ready indicates compatibility, not that an airbag system is included.
