iXS EUROPEAN DOWNHILL CUP ROUND 1: JORDAN WILLIAMS WINS OPENER IN PORTUGAL, FINN ILES THIRD

At the opening round of the 2026 iXS European Downhill Cup in Santiago de Besteiros, Portugal, Specialized Gravity rider Jordan Williams claimed victory in the Elite Men category with a winning time of 2:23.292 — the first win for the team’s custom Alpinestars red kit.

Teammate Finn Iles, who had been fastest in Saturday’s seeding run with 2:24.426, finished third overall, one second behind the winner.

Strong winds on the upper section of the dry course played a major factor throughout the weekend.
