After a mixed start to his 2026 AMA 450 Supercross campaign, Chase Sexton; wearing a custom kit inspired by surfing legend Andy Irons, put in a stellar performance at Anaheim 2, making his way to the lead early in the main and managing his race to perfection, soaking up constant pressure from Hunter Lawrence in the closing stages; the pair finishing first and second respectively with Sexton earning his first win of the season and with it, his first win on a Kawasaki, while Hunter Lawrence made it back-to-back second place finishes. Eli Tomac rode a solid race to finish third, retaining his lead in the points standings as the series heads to Houston, Texas, this coming weekend.
Jason Anderson finished fourth, Cooper Webb fifth, and Justin Cooper tenth, all Alpinestars athletes.
