De GP Pro Comp v2 beschikt over een buitenlaag van eenvoudig materiaal dat exclusief voor Alpinestars is ontwikkeld en gecombineerd met een zachte aramidische basisbrei voering voor optimale niveaus van comfort, bescherming, licht gewicht en comfort. Dankzij de introductie van de aramidische basisvoering met een open weefstructuur biedt dit pak verbeterde ademendheid, en dit wordt nog verder versterkt door de strategisch geplaatste gebreide rekbare open mesh panelen op de rug, het kruis en het armsgat voor extra luchtstroom en flexibiliteit, zowel in als uit de auto. Dit pak bevat ook innovatieve siliconen griptechnologie details op de schouders en onderrug om beweging met de autostoel of een HANS-apparaat te voorkomen, en ook om de druk op de schouder te verminderen.
