Veelgestelde vragen FAQ verbergen
How does the Dusk Airflow Leather Jacket fit, and which size should I choose?
The Dusk Airflow Leather Jacket has a regular cut with an ergonomic Comfort Sport fit. Its multi-panel 3D construction, leather accordion panels from the armpit to the shoulder, and HRSF stretch inserts support movement in the riding position.
The Black Black variant is listed in men’s sizes 44–62, in two-size increments. Compare your measurements with the Alpinestars size guide and check the fit with your intended layers. Shoulder and elbow armor should remain correctly positioned without restricting movement; if using Tech-Air®, follow the system’s fitting requirements.
What CE rating and armor does the Dusk Airflow Leather Jacket have?
The Dusk Airflow Leather Jacket is fully CE-certified as a Category II riding garment to EN 17092, Class AA. It includes Nucleon Flex Plus Level 1 shoulder armor, Nucleon PLASMA Level 1 elbow armor and external DFS shoulder protection for impact protection and friction control. Class AA is the garment classification, distinct from the impact protectors’ Level 1 rating.
Chest and back inserts are optional accessories. The jacket accommodates regular and full-length CE Level 2 Nucleon PLASMA Chest and Back inserts, as well as Nucleon Flex Chest and CELL Back inserts.
Which Tech-Air® systems are compatible with the Dusk Airflow Leather Jacket?
The Dusk Airflow Leather Jacket is Tech-Air® Ready and is specifically listed as compatible with the Tech-Air® 5 PLASMA, Tech-Air® 5 and Tech-Air® 3 V2 systems. Airbag systems are sold separately; Tech-Air® Ready indicates compatibility, not an included airbag.
Follow the selected system’s sizing, compatibility and deployment-clearance instructions when choosing the jacket size and checking the fit.
Is the Dusk Airflow Leather Jacket suitable for hot-weather road riding?
Yes. The Dusk Airflow Leather Jacket is designed for summer road and sport riding, with extensive front and back perforations to promote airflow through its 1.1–1.3 mm bovine leather construction.
Its Nucleon PLASMA elbow armor combines impact protection with a breathable, adaptive structure, while stretch inserts support freedom of movement on the bike.
Is the Dusk Airflow Leather Jacket waterproof?
The Dusk Airflow Leather Jacket is designed around ventilated leather construction and is not specified as a waterproof riding jacket. Its extensive perforations prioritize airflow for warm-weather riding rather than rain protection.
It has a waterproof internal compartment for storing essentials, but this does not make the jacket itself waterproof. Plan separate motorcycle rain protection if you expect wet conditions.
