What CE rating and armor does the GP Plus R V4 RIDEKNIT Leather Jacket have?
The jacket is CE-certified to Category II EN 17092-3:2020, Class AA. Its construction combines 1.3 mm race-grade leather with Nucleon Flex Plus shoulder armor, GP Lite elbow armor, and dual-density DFS external shoulder protection.
The mesh interior liner also has pockets to accommodate a back protector or split chest protector. The AA classification applies to the garment and is not an impact-armor level.
Which Tech-Air systems are compatible with the GP Plus R V4 RIDEKNIT Leather Jacket?
The GP Plus R V4 RIDEKNIT® Leather Jacket is listed as compatible with the Tech-Air® 5 Plasma System, Tech-Air® 5 System, and Tech-Air® 3 V2 System.
When choosing your jacket size, follow the selected airbag system's fit and clearance instructions. Tech-Air® compatibility does not mean an airbag system is included with the jacket.
Is the GP Plus R V4 RIDEKNIT Leather Jacket waterproof or ventilated?
This model is designed for ventilation, with localized perforations on the chest and sides, breathable RIDEKNIT® inner arms, A-CS® Plus torso panels, and a mesh comfort liner.
No waterproof membrane or thermal liner is specified for this jacket. Do not rely on it as waterproof rain protection; its documented weather-related features focus on airflow and breathability.
Can I connect the GP Plus R V4 RIDEKNIT Leather Jacket to motorcycle pants?
Yes. The jacket includes a three-quarter waist zipper for connection to compatible Alpinestars riding pants. Check that your chosen pants have a matching connection zipper.
The longer back provides additional coverage in the riding position, and the hook-and-loop waist adjustment helps refine the fit around the waist.
